APRIL 2015 – The endless pursuit of the golfing experience has probably caused more anguish and joy than any other sport in which we participate. Some golfers seek outer guidance for their experience and others blame forces outside of themselves. To those who consider golf as a spiritual journey, we offer up these six golden rules as a guide along your personal golfing path.

Unique golf tournaments scheduled for Winterstone Golf Course

APRIL 2015 – It is a tradition unlike any other…at least in the Kansas City area.

The “Winterstone Masters” takes place on the Sunday morning of The Masters, and is part of a unique tournament schedule for the Winterstone Golf Course in Independence. It will be a two-man scramble on different courses, with the more famous one being in Augusta, Georgia.

“We think it enhances the viewership,” head club pro Kane Chapman said. “If you weren’t already involved, you will be.”

Heritage Park and Tomahawk Hills offer challenging holes, scenic courses

APRIL 2015 – Johnson County is home to two of the area’s best public courses:  Heritage Park and Tomahawk Hills.

Heritage Park, which is along Lackman/Black Bob Road in Olathe, offers challenging links play and beautiful views.
